MUSCLE ENERGY TECHNIQUES & MYOFASCIAL RELEASE  TECHNIQUES
MEDANTA HOSPITAL, GURGAON
(MARCH 4TH AND 5TH , 2017)

Workshop Philosophy

This MTFI workshop provides a critical insight into the complex anatomy and function of the musculo- fascia-skeletal system. The course facilitates analysing the mechanism behind possible dysfunctions, providing new clinical skills to enhance rehabilitation strategies and to treat the dysfunctions.

This course facilitates the identification of muscular imbalances, the fascial concepts and the various joint dysfunctions. In present day many patients come with trigger points along with muscular and fascial tightness. The MET and MFR techniques are very useful for correcting the muscular and fascial dysfunctions. The High Velocity Thrust techniques are excellent techniques to correct several articular dysfunctions of vertebral region, pelvic complex and peripheral joints.

Functional anatomy and kinesiology of the ventral and dorsal slings are intensively studied and the roles of fascia structures are discussed in a new perspective.
